You may have guessed custom color, after all it is the title of this blog post. If that was your guess, then you would be correct.

THIS SIMPLY MEANS THAT YOUR FAVORITE IS OUR SPECIALTY.

In 2014 alone, we generated nearly 300 custom color matches. We keep a sample of all the requests we receive dating back 10 years, just in case the need for additional cabinetry arises. We even have our own dedicated room to store all of them (see below).

SO HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ORDERING A CUSTOM COLOR MATCH?

First, you need to find your dream shade.

Next, work with a designer in your area or with one of our dealers to send us your sample. It could be something as simple as a paint swatch, or it could be more personal or include finer details like a pillowcase or a favorite scarf. One homeowner even sent us a sample of a shingle from their roof.

We prefer that you look over the finish yourself, which is why we'll send you a door finished in your desired shade. This way you can rest assured that your color is exactly the way you dreamed it would be.

Once we know that the match has been approved, full scale production is set to begin. No matter where your inspiration comes from, whether its a piece of jewelry, the quilt made by your great grandmother or a favorite denim jacket, creating your dream shade is just that easy.
