What does the job look like?

We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join our team in a new position for us. This position might best be called "Job Quoting/Estimating". You must be ready for a challenge! Although you will be part of the bigger team, we don't have anyone else in this specific role. The person in this position will be a resource for our current dealers/designers throughout America. They will submit floor plans to you and using software like 20/20 or Advanceware you will send them back a complete quote for their job. We would also like this person to be able to go get the work that keeps them busy. They will do this by building relationships with dealers, making calls to assist them, and eventually placing bids for commercial jobs.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years in the cabinetry industry
• Must be very comfortable using software like 20/20, Pro Kitchen, Advanceware, CabinetVision or similar
• Experience quoting custom jobs, reading blueprints and floorplans
• Ability to work a set schedule and be reliable.
• Ability to retain a high volume of information
• Must be able to ask questions, rather than assume
• Communication/Interpersonal skills|• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Trade school or professional experience in a relevant field
• Sitting & Computer use = 75%-85% of the time
• Comfortable using computer (Database use, data entry, and basic MS Office preferred)
• Typical Work Week: 4 ½ days (7am-4:30pm M thru Th. & F - 8am- noon.)
