Paint Lab | Color Lab Technician

We are customer-driven. We are craftsmen. We are Plain & Fancy.We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join our Finish Department as a Paint/Color Lab Technician. This position plays a key role in the precision color matching used in our high-end custom cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix, test, and adjust stains, paints, glazes, and finishes to achieve precise color matches.
• Maintain accurate formulas and documentation for all color recipes.
• Evaluate color samples under various lighting conditions to ensure consistency.
• Track inventory of all necessary supplies.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Experience in professional spraying, staining, or comparable color matching.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.
• Excellent eye for color.
• Able to lift 40-50lbs regularly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent schedule.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay:

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Typical Work Week:

• 4 days (5am-3:30pm Monday thru Thursday)
