ABOUT THE DESIGNER

For more than 20 years Andrea Finn the founder and designer of AHF Designs in Kentlands, MD has been designing all kinds of kitchens and baths. From small and simple to large and complex - there's nothing she can't design when it comes to your kitchen or baths. Her skill and sense of aesthetics transcends the average designer. When you work with her you'll quickly come to realize that she painstakingly combs through a project to ensure it's precisely measured, designed and executed.

Andrea Finn works around your schedule and will cater to your needs no matter where you are in the DC Metro Area.

She predominantly services Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC, but she does work on projects up and down the East Coast.

Andrea is a veteran in the trade and has an extensive experience working with other architects and builders who hire her for her design services.

THE NORDOCK PLACE PROJECT

Nordok Place can be found nestled in Hollin Hills in Alexandria, Virginia. The goal while renovating Nordok Place was to keep the original mid-century design that is prominent throughout Hollin Hills, while increasing the space and functionality seen in newer kitchens today.

Before the remodel, the kitchen inside Nordok Place was situated inside a tight corridor and had minimal space to be the centerpiece for gathering and entertaining. It was ultimately expanded to house a modern eat-in kitchen and family room.
