This compact design makes maximum use of the available footprint of the floor plan, keeping everything within arm’s reach. Efficient use of vertical space doesn’t compromise on style in this comfortable and practical country kitchen. The design welcomes lots of natural light to heighten the airy and lively feel that the tall vertical country cabinets provide. A small footprint doesn’t need to be cramped and unworkable, as this design tastefully demonstrates. Suspended glass-front cabinetry and a countertop separate from the range puts the home cook at the center of activity. The project showcased here features the Cloister door style constructed from maple with a beaded inset overlay.
