Asian Inspiration for Contemporary Kitchens
As a stay-at-home mom and a vegan, Diane Kooker spends a lot of time in her kitchen preparing fresh foods, so she designed her contemporary kitchen around two refrigerators and appliances. The Birdseye maple cabinets bring an oriental element into the design and inspire a soothing ambience. Muted backlighting in the contemporary cabinets reminded her of the moon’s soft glow. Plain & Fancy designers incorporated the perfect milk glass to illuminate her vision. Flip-top accent cabinets provide the storage necessary for a contemporary kitchen as well-stocked and fully featured as this one. The design features pull-out plateware storage racks, a sit-down counter with acrylic stools, and ebony slab countertops.
